NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. Everything we publish — product descriptions, ingredient explanations, routines, the skin quiz and blog articles — is general educational information only. It is not medical or dermatological advice, not a diagnosis, and not a treatment plan. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are using prescription topical or oral treatments (for example retinoids, acids or antibiotics), or have known allergies, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.

ALWAYS PATCH TEST FIRST. Before applying any new product to your face, apply a small amount to a discreet area — such as the inner forearm or behind the ear — and leave it for 24 hours. If you see redness, itching, burning, swelling, bumps or any discomfort, do not use the product. We ask every customer to patch test every new product, including products marketed as gentle, fragrance-free or suitable for sensitive skin.

READ THE INGREDIENTS. Full ingredient (INCI) information is printed on the product packaging by the manufacturer and, where available, shown on the product page. It is your responsibility to check the ingredient list against any known allergies or sensitivities before use. If you are unsure whether an ingredient is suitable for you, ask a healthcare professional rather than relying on the site.

DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU REACT. Stop using the product at once if you experience irritation, redness, itching, stinging, rash, swelling, blistering or any unusual reaction. Rinse the area with cool water. Seek medical attention promptly if the reaction is severe, spreading, involves the eyes or mouth, or is accompanied by difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, lips or tongue — in that situation seek emergency care first and contact us afterwards.

REPORT A REACTION TO US. If you experience a reaction, please tell us through our contact form (select "Skin reaction to a product") or email hello@lumyseoul.com. Keep the product and its packaging, including the batch/lot number, if you can. We record every report, escalate it immediately, and can trace which batch you received. Reporting helps us protect other customers.

RESULTS VARY. Skincare results depend on skin type, climate, routine, consistency, hormones, health and other factors. Any timeframes, before/after imagery or customer reviews describe individual experiences and are not a promise of the results you will get. We do not claim that any product will cure, treat, prevent or diagnose any condition.

USE AS DIRECTED, AND MIND EXPIRY. Follow the manufacturer’s directions on the packaging. Observe the expiry date and, once opened, the period-after-opening symbol. Store products as directed, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only unless the packaging states otherwise. Avoid contact with eyes unless the product is designed for eye use.

SUN SENSITIVITY. Some ingredients, including exfoliating acids, retinoids and certain brightening actives, can increase sun sensitivity. Use appropriate sun protection and follow the manufacturer’s guidance.

KOREAN-MARKET PRODUCTS. The products we sell are manufactured for the Korean market. Labelling and any claims follow Korean requirements and may differ from your country’s standards. Regulatory classification can also differ — for example, sunscreen is a cosmetic in Korea and an over-the-counter drug in the United States. You are importing these goods for personal use.

To the extent permitted by law, LUMYSEOUL is not liable for reactions or outcomes arising from failure to patch test, from use contrary to the manufacturer’s directions, from use despite a known allergy to a listed ingredient, or from continued use after a reaction has appeared. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or your mandatory consumer rights.
